Zakesta-Z is the newest version of the shoot 'em up that challenges players to blast their way through a total of five stages, with a main shot that can be powered up 5 levels and an array of sub-weapons that can be powered up 3 levels. The game also includes a stage select feature that allows players to practice previously-cleared stages with infinite lives, as well as a sound test that unlocks upon clearing the game.
