In a Japan where Amaterasu (good/happiness) and Aramatsuri (evil/misfortune) powers are contained within humans. The main character, Yuzuru Kurotori, is a civil servant working for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. He belongs to the Aramatsuri Countermeasures Sector on the 7th Floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.

Only those who can see and stand toe to toe with Aramatsuri belong to this department. Even in modern Japan, the Aramatsuri wander the streets of Tokyo…
