In The Machine, your place in the world is determined at a young age through an aptitude test, which will allow you to experience each playthrough as a factory worker, a police officer, a secret agent, a hippie, and more. Get to know those around you, and make decisions that could dramatically impact the future of your home and its inhabitants, concluding in one of over 25 possible endings.

Storyline

The Machine is a game about a little guy named Girt. Girt lives in the machine. The machine isn't perfect but it's the only thing Girt knows. Girt can choose any career he wants... as long as he has good enough test scores! By the way, Girt forgot to study for his tests. Good luck! :)
