The Echoes of Me is a first‑person horror experience focused on tense exploration and completing objective‑based sequences under pressure. You’ll move through dark environments, search for key items, and trigger events that push the story forward. Typical gameplay centres on roaming, solving environmental puzzles, and avoiding enemies that react to your presence. Expect scripted scares, dynamic jump scares, a quick‑time event, and a chase sequence.

Storyline

You are Michael Smith, an brilliant scientist whose ambition is to create a simulative world where all can rest. However, after finding the solution to your goals, you realise its consequences and let go of the dreams you once held.

Many years later you are contacted by your once fellow peer's, now seeking your knowledge on the solution to a glitchless simulation. As you persistently deny, you are kindnaped and imprisoned within a prototype of the simulation you once created in hopes you reveal the solution they need for progress.

You will seek a way out of this prototype, and escape the simulation. Stay alive as long as you can. You are not a fighter; to navigate the simulation and return to your reality, your only choices are to run, hide, or die.
