Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition includes the base game with three additional major new features:

- Third Person Mode, which allows the players to play the main story mode from a new perspective;
- The Mercenaries Additional Orders, introducing new playable characters and stages;
- Shadows of Rose, a story DLC continuing the story of Ethan's daughter, Rosemary.

Storyline

Years after the tragic events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Ethan Winters has started over with his wife Mia, finally living in peace and putting the past behind them. However, the legendary Chris Redfield from previous Resident Evil games suddenly disrupts their life, throwing a devastated Ethan into a new and twisted nightmare in search of answers.
