Through a dramatic prequel narrative, players experience their transformation, culminating in a seamless connection to the official storyline. Designed as a character-driven and lore-enhancing mod, this episode offers an immersive adventure through rich dialogue, expressive art, and a faithful adaptation of the original mechanics.

Storyline

Before becoming adversaries in the world of Explorers of Sky, Grovyle and Dusknoir were partners with a shared mission. "In A Dark Past" explores the pivotal choices and emotional wounds that caused their bond to fracture. Players are taken through an apocalyptic future, forced to confront questions of loyalty, destiny, and sacrifice.
