ODIN: Valhalla Rising is an RPG game rooted in Nordic mythology, developed by Lionheart Studio and published by the South Korean company Kakao Games. The game is available on PC, Android, and iOS. After its initial release in South Korea in 2021, ODIN: Valhalla Rising was launched globally in April 2025, reaching players in the US, Europe, and Asia.

Storyline

1. Ginnungagap
Long ago, in an age devoid of life, the fire of Muspelheim and the ice of Niflheim met, forging a dense frost. And from within emerged Ginnungagap, the endless void.

2. Birth of the void
From the depths of Gunnungagap, creatures of the void-beings of chaos and fear-were born. A fierce battle erupted as they clashed with the primordial giants, who too emerged from the void. In the end, the giants stood victorious, while creatures of the void were cast into the endless abyss.

3. Birth of Odin
In time, Odin was born from the mystical ice. With a vision of a new world, he wielded unmatched power to dive out the giants and shape a vast continent. Yet, he spared the youngest of them, taking him in as his own. This giant would come to be known as Loki.

4. Ragnarok
Odin brings forth gods, humans, and all forms of life, ushering an age of peace. Upon drinking from the Wellspring of Wisdom, he gains the gift of foresight and learns of Ragnarok. Realizing Loki will bring about the apocalypse, Odin casts him down to Earth.

5. The Great War
Abandoned and filled with wrath, Loki curses all creation and swears vengeance upon the gods. Harnessing the magic of the gods and the strength of the giants, he awakens the creatures of the void that lay dormant in Ginnungagap and unleashes chaos upon the world.
