Halo 2: Maptacular Pack

The Maptacular Pack is the third downloadable content package for Halo 2. It added five new maps to Halo 2: Backwash, Elongation, Gemini, Relic, and Terminal. It was initially intended to release alongside the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack on June 28, 2005, before eventually being released for download on July 5, 2005 for $11.99 and was made permanently free on August 30, 2005. Once the pack was made free, this download was required in order to play Halo 2 Matchmaking over Xbox Live. The Maptacular maps were included in the later releases of the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack, the Halo 2 PC port and Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

The Maptacular Pack was originally the final piece of DLC intended for Halo 2, though a fourth - the Blastacular Pack - was later released in early 2007.
