Storyline
Call of Duty follows three intertwined campaigns set during the Second World War. In the American campaign, Private Martin of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment moves from basic training at Camp Toccoa into the chaos of the Normandy airdrops on D-Day, fighting alongside whatever soldiers he can find. The British campaign follows Sergeant Jack Evans, who takes part in the glider assault on Pegasus Bridge before transferring to the SAS for sabotage missions deep behind enemy lines. The Soviet campaign traces Corporal Voronin from the desperate river crossing at Stalingrad, where retreat means execution, onward through the brutal fighting on the Eastern Front. Across all three perspectives, ordinary soldiers are swept into some of the war's most pivotal battles.
