Storyline
Recently promoted Staff Sergeant Matt Baker is haunted by the deaths of men under his command during the fighting in Normandy. As World War II grinds on, Baker and his squad, alongside his best friend Staff Sergeant Joe Hartsock, prepare for Operation Market Garden, a high-risk airborne assault meant to end the war by Christmas. Bolstered by fresh replacements, including the green Private Franky LaRoche, the unit drops into the occupied Netherlands by glider and links up with the Dutch resistance and fellow Allied paratroopers. As they push to seize key bridges and towns from entrenched German forces, Baker must lead his brothers through brutal urban combat while wrestling with the weight of command and the ghosts of the losses he carries.
