Black Bass with Blue Marlin is a fishing simulation game for PlayStation. It includes two modes: black bass fishing and blue marlin fishing. Players use various lures, rods, and techniques to catch fish, with gameplay focused on timing, positioning, and managing line tension. The game includes guidance on fishing techniques from legendary angler Hank Parker, along with a variety of fishing locations.

The game supports two-player split-screen play. It includes four tournament lakes based on real locations, each with multiple marinas and a high fish population. There are also twelve marlin fishing areas. Gameplay incorporates environmental factors, different fishing spots, and a range of lures and reeling mechanics.
