Arcade Archives: Daioh is a 1993 vertical scrolling shooter featuring traditional shoot-em-up mechanics with challenging gameplay. Players pilot spacecraft through enemy-filled stages, utilizing various weapon systems to defeat waves of opponents and large boss encounters. The game includes two versions: a Japanese version with 2-button controls where weapons switch by collecting items, and an International version offering direct selection from six different weapons using dedicated buttons.
