In the far future, mankind lives in huge cities on the bottom on the ocean. These cities are controlled entirely by artificial intelligences, yet one human supervisor rests in an artificial sleep, watching over the AIs with his subconsicious mind. Then, one day, something unexpected happens: The supervisor awakens... to find out his connection to the city has been entirely severed...
